Stop Throwing Away 2012. Get Serious about Conversion.

Does this sound like you?

You’ve picked 2012 as the year you’re going to build your first 1,000 blog readers.

You’ve carefully read Internet Marketing blogs and you just KNOW the secret is in the email list. You’ve learned you need to place strategic forms throughout your site, but you just don’t know how. You’ve never studied syntax before and the project is sucking your time. Your forms look pathetic and you’re about to scream.

But it gets worse.

Even if you couold get those forms looking like you want, it’d take another 5-10 hours getting them to show up in the right place. That feature box code looks pretty scary. You figure it’ll end up being one of those outsource jobs for an expensive geek. Ugh.

What’s your default response?

At this point you simply decide to ignore the problem. You just keep blogging and ignore the fact that nobody’s signed up for your AWeber in like two weeks.

The problem is that this won’t work if you’re trying to build a business. I’ll be blunt: you’re even wasting your time.

Here’s a better response

Chances are, you watched 2011 slip away while trying a bunch of stuff that didn’t work. It’s time to start your new year with something that works.

Any successful site owner will tell you that their online empire began with proper web design optimized to achieve its intended purpose. I built Conversion with one goal: to build a Genesis child theme that converts like wildfire. It’s yours for just $79.99, which you can easily remake with my 50% e-junkie affiliate program.

View the demo, and be sure to read What Separates Conversion from Every Other Child Theme.

You’re not buying a static design you can’t customize. With a simple Theme Settings page, you control your logo, typography for both headlines and prose, color schemes, and more. With a click of a button you can turn on features like the feature box, and there’s even a special de-clutter template for landing pages.

  1. Wonderful way to roll out the new year, Martyn, with a focus on conversion!

    Grabbed my affiliate code.

    Thanks!

  2. sally says:

Yep, that’s definitely my goal for the year. Conversions and building readership. I’ve done all I can, at least I think I have. Like you said, it’s exhausting and time consuming. So is this for Genesis only? I’m on Thesis.

  3. Josh Sarz says:

The Conversion theme looks really great, Martyn. I love how easily you can change the fonts and all. And that lavalamp thing? Sexy.

    • Martyn Chamberlin says:

You know what Josh, I think the official Twenty Twelve WordPress theme should include this lavalamp integration. It’s just too cool. ;)

  4. Mark Scott says:

Hey Martin, it looks. I like the configuration page.

I’m browsing in Safari (5.0.1) and noticed an error on the Conversion ABOUT page. The menu in the header area moves right and is cut off at the start of the word CONTACT.

  5. Was really excited to see the progress of this theme, and I’m sure I won’t be the first (or last) to say I think you really killed this one, excellent job.

Only thing I’d do is to make the content area (below nav) all white as default, but your thought process on converting well really shows and this is a great theme for people to get a high converting blog right out of the box.

    Nice work.

    • Martyn Chamberlin says:

Thanks Gregory! The great thing about child themes is they’re super easy to change. If you want a white background, go for it. ;)

    Hi Martyn,

Thanks a lot for a guestblog on problogger on how to change over to Awber for your blog posts being sent out to your list. I´ve been spending hours on this now, since I´ve found 3 different instructions on how to do it.
Is it any way you could repeat or clearify……….again:) ?
I can´s figure out if you have to go through a proceedure in Awber for EVERY blogpost? I blog every day and was hoping it would go automatically, as it does with Feedburner. I´d appreciate any clearification…………thanks a lot!!!
    Wonderful site!!!!!
    Swedish greetings from Sanna

    • Martyn Chamberlin says:

No, you don’t have to repeat the process for each blog post. Click “Blog Broadcast” and move on to step 4 under the If you’re using AWeber… subheadline.

The instructions I’ve laid out there are fairly straight forward. If you get stuck on a step and it confuses the junk out of you, feel free to get back.

Really interesting blog. Conversion is everything. I use Standard theme. Do you know it? Should I (in your humble opinion) do a swap?

    Love this blog

    Geoff

  8. Jeff Goins says:

    Love this theme.

  9. vignesh says:

    Hi,

Is that 79.99$ is just one time cost or monthly subscription for the theme.
